The story of... Esther

Written with great love, I, Esther van Erp - van Kervel, owner of Esuals, would like to tell you how it all began.
I've been crazy about fashion my whole life, of course. In 2012, I thought, what would I really enjoy? The idea of ​​clothing parties had crossed my mind many times, and in May 2012, I took the plunge and registered with the Chamber of Commerce (KVK) under the name Esuals & More. Four evenings a week, I toured the country in my Ford Ka, proudly showing off the racks of clothes I bought weekly in the Netherlands. After years of enjoying this immensely, my husband (then still my boyfriend ;) ) decided to add an online store so I could work more from home and, of course, reach more people. In 2016, we launched the online store together, www.esuals.nl.

I really missed the clothing parties. After over 400, it was definitely time for a change. You want to grow, of course, and after so many parties, you know women in our target audience all over the region ;)

Webshop & Boutique

We quickly noticed that we had 4,000 followers on Instagram through our social media channels at the time, which I'm still very proud of. Had I reached all those followers through the many clothing parties?
The orders came in like hotcakes, which made my fashion heart beat even faster. Didn't Esuals need a physical store? Informing customers daily that the parties were over and only online shopping was possible had to change. And then came the next girl's dream... Oh yeah, we'd removed the "& More" ;) Esuals is clearer and more catchy! Curious how we came up with the name Esuals? A combination of Esther and Casual makes Esuals, a name we never thought about for too long in the car on the way to the Chamber of Commerce.

Esuals store Kerkdriel

And there it was, on April 1, 2017, our physical store in the heart of Kerkdriel. With its inviting interior, resembling a living room where everyone feels comfortable, our team has been creating the most wonderful and enjoyable weekends for years with so many dear, genuine customers who have watched me grow over the years. Without you, there would be no Esuals! In 2019, the store expanded by 30m². We hope to surprise you even more with new developments in the future. Thank you for your trust in us!

Webshop moved to new building in 2018

The webshop ran behind our store for another year. The connection was ideal; it was just a glass door between the store and the webshop. However, it became too small, and we couldn't grow our inventory. In 2018, we renovated a fantastic 400m² warehouse, where we now house a marketing department, a shooting room, extensive inventory management, and a packaging department. We don't outsource anything; we keep everything under our own roof, ensuring we are always responsible for all operations within Esuals.
